Our in-person mock exams, with personal feedback reports and review videos for each test, are designed to mimic the real examination environment and format to help children prepare for the big day without the anxiety of not knowing what to expect.

A significant aspect of success in any examination lies in remaining calm on the day and performing to the best of one’s ability.
Inspire Mock Test Days can assist in alleviating exam day nerves, fostering confidence, refining exam technique, and pinpointing any elements of exam conditions that might unsettle your child if encountered for the first time, such as:
-Distractions from other students (coughing, sneezing, muttering, fidgeting, leaving the hall, etc.)
-Distractions from invigilators (moving around, whispering, handling papers)
-Time management (adhering to timings for each subsection of the paper)
-Managing breaks to visit the toilets
-Following instructions, whether reading or listening.

The session will be for 3 hours.
-The first 20 minutes are for registration
-Mock Test Paper 1: 11+ English Comprehension & Verbal Reasoning (50-60 minutes)
-Break for 20 minutes
-Mock Test Paper 2: 11+ Numerical (Math’s) & Non-Verbal / Spatial Reasoning (50-60 minutes)
-End of Test
-Collect Papers and get children ready for collection.
Inspire offers a total of 10 Mock Test in a year. The first is in the Christmas break. This and the second one in February half term are specifically designed to allow the children to familiarise themselves with the environment, structure and test paper format of the exam day.
It is often advantageous to do all the tests as they are spread out throughout the year and will allow your child to familiarise themselves with the process and build on areas highlighted for improvement.
We provide a video review of each mock test to allow your child to learn from their mistakes and make improvements from each test.
The Inspire Mock Test Papers are in multiple-choice format, as in the GL Assessment Examination Paper. The children will need to be familiar with filling out the answer sheets. Instructions will be provided when you book your mock test.

Bring 3 sharp HB pencils and a good eraser in a clear plastic pencil case or bag. Also bring a small snack and water bottle (no fizzy drinks or cans).
Arrive 10 minutes before the session starts to find parking and register. Allow time for a toilet visit before the session.
Registration is completed at the entrance to the exam room. Parents cannot accompany children into the exam room.
We do not provide space for parents to sit at the Mock Test venue but you are welcome to wait in your car in the car park. However, due to safeguarding, we do not allow parents to use the toilet facilities.
Children must be promptly collected at the session’s end. This will be indicated on your registration email when booking the test. Late collection incurs a charge.
Within 4-5 days of the test, you will receive the detailed test scores and a review video to go through any mistakes with your child.
